UZMYCODE / INFORMATION
Privacy Notice
Last updated October 20, 2026. Optional Google Analytics is used only after you allow it. You can read every guide without allowing analytics.
Uzmycode is operated by KNK Consulting LLC in Clark County, Nevada, United States. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@uzmycode.com. This is also our designated address for Nevada requests not to sell covered information.
Information used to operate the site
WordPress, Hostinger hosting, and Hostinger’s delivery and security services process information needed to serve requests and protect the site. This can include an IP address, requested address, browser and device information, request time, and security events. Authorized editors use WordPress login cookies. Public reader accounts, comments, checkout, and newsletter collection are not offered in this version.
If you contact us, Hostinger Mail processes your email address, message, and information you choose to send. We use this to respond, resolve the inquiry, and maintain necessary business records. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.
Calculator measurements: the fit and slot planners calculate in your browser. We do not send their entered dimensions or item lists to our server or Analytics, and the tools do not save them. Product links are separate choices with the retailer privacy practices described below.
Your choice about optional analytics
We use Google Analytics only when you select Allow analytics. Analytics stays off until you allow it, and remains off for signed-in editors. Selecting Reject optional, closing the controls without allowing analytics, or using the site with JavaScript disabled does not enable analytics.
You can reopen Privacy choices in the footer at any time. Withdrawal stops future collection, clears the site’s accessible Google Analytics cookies, and reloads a page if the Google library was already loaded. It cannot undo data already sent. Recognized Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep optional analytics off, even if it was previously allowed.
When enabled with consent, Google Analytics will receive limited page views, a 90% scroll event, and outbound or affiliate-link click events. Google may also produce standard session and engagement events. Our implementation removes URL queries and fragments, reduces referrers to their origin, and uses fixed merchant labels rather than link text or destination addresses. We do not intentionally send contact messages, search terms, email addresses, user IDs, or purchase details. Google still processes connection and device information needed to receive events. Analytics is configured without advertising personalization or Google signals; optional account data sharing is off. See how Google uses information from sites using its services and Google’s browser opt-out tool.
Cookies and retention
| Storage | Purpose | Retention or control |
|---|---|---|
| uzmycode_privacy | Remembers allow/reject choice, version and date; no unique visitor ID. | 180 days. Clearing site cookies removes the choice. |
| uzmycode_privacy_review | Legacy consent-control preview from the review period, if still present. | 180 days; this choice is not reused as public-launch consent. |
| WordPress login cookies | Authentication and preferences for authorized editors. | Depends on login/session preferences; not required for public reading. |
| _ga and _ga_* | Optional Analytics browser/session identifiers, only after activation and consent. | Configured for up to 180 days without extending on each visit; cleared on withdrawal where accessible. |
Google Analytics event and user data retention is set to two months, with reset on new activity off. This setting does not control the lifespan of all aggregated reports. Contact us if you need help with a privacy request.
We retain correspondence for the time needed to handle the request and any related contractual, tax, security, or legal obligations. We review whether continued retention is necessary when an inquiry closes. Hosting, security, email-service logs, and provider backups follow the applicable provider’s operational retention and deletion schedules; deleting an active message may not immediately remove backup copies. See Hostinger’s privacy information. We do not promise a deletion interval for provider systems that we have not verified.
Sharing, external links, and international processing
We use service providers to host, secure, and operate the site and handle correspondence. Google is an additional processor for optional analytics when allowed. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries under their applicable terms. We may disclose limited information when legally required or necessary to protect rights and security.
We do not sell contact lists or accept payment for personal information, and this version does not run targeted advertising. Links to manufacturers and other sources open third-party sites with their own privacy practices. Affiliate links are identified in our disclosure and near relevant content; clicking an affiliate link may let the retailer attribute a purchase and earn us a commission. Our cookie choice controls this site’s optional analytics, not a retailer’s separate systems. No Pinterest pixel, advertising pixel, or embedded social tracking is enabled.
Your requests and updates
You may contact hello@uzmycode.com to request access, correction, deletion, or an applicable opt-out concerning information you provided. We may need reasonable information to verify a request and will respond within the period required by applicable law. Browser-level consent withdrawal is available immediately through Privacy choices. We do not require analytics consent to read the guides.
The site is intended for a general adult audience, not children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child supplied personal information so we can investigate and address it. We use HTTPS and access controls, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
We will update this notice when our data practices change and show a revised date. A material change to optional tracking will require a new consent version and choice before that tracking starts.
